I am a very clean person. I love cleanliness. I like dogs, but I don’t have one. Other people are walking their dogs, by my lawn, and letting them pee and pee on my LAWN!!! This is private property, they are invading my property!!!! I live in a court, and not many people walk by. I HATE it when people walk into our court with dogs. Their dogs pee everywhere!!!! They’re peeing on my lawn and making the grass yellow and ugly, and spreading a ton of germs. My lawn, even though not fenced in, is still private property, right? My parents don’t really care, but I HATE germs. OUR LAWN IS PRIVATE PROPERTY!!!!! HOW DO I KEEP DOGS OF MY FAMILY’S LAWN????? As, I said the rest of my familey don’t really care, but I dislike germs and plan to get rid of dog pee and poo on my lawn!!! My parents aren’t going to install a fence or anything. How can I keep dogs and people off my private property? How can I get revenge? How can I find out if there is dog pee in certain spot of my lawn??
THANKS, SORRY ITS SOOO LONG!!!

Despite consistent watering, aeration, fertilizer, and mowing my front lawn is going to hell in a hand basket. I don’t even know where to start in fixing it. I live in Colorado, a very arid state and have Kentucky Blue Grass, a very water loving grass variety that is entirely too popular in our state. I don’t want to use a lot of chemicals on our lawn due to kids and dogs and I don’t want to pay a fortune for a professional to come out and take care of it. What can I do to find a solution to my grass issues?

I know the pics aren’t the BEST quality but I figured they’d help for some advice. I live in Northern Colorado and I know it’s still a tad early to start planting or sodding the backyard, I just figured if I started to look into getting it done earlier, than I wouldn’t have to scramble later on for some advice.
We just moved to this place and having a backyard that is full of dirt and weeds kind of sucks. Especially since we have dogs that track in mud all the time. =( Anyhow, what would your advice be to do with the backyard? Do I seed it and water it everyday? Or, do I sod it? And how do I go about getting rid of the weeds first? Do I have to plow it? LOL. I’m totally new at this, so please be nice. If you have any suggestions, they’d definitely be welcome. We’d like to do the work ourselves instead of spending money to have someone else do it.
Thanks!

Help! Someone has been walking their dog on our front grass and the urine is killing it. We are dog lovers, and I have a huge female German Shepherd – I would never dream of allowing her to do this on someone else’s property. What can I put on the grass to persuade dogs to not use my front yard as their own private toilet.

I’d love to have something over our apartment carpet due to our dogs. However, it can’t be too big because I want to wash it if needed (we have no garden hoses either) but not too small (an accent rug wouldn’t cover the space).

we have some hoses that our dogs bit into, so when we turn the water on we have water coming out of them, does anyone have any advice or solutions as far as fixing these holes or should I just toss them and buy new ones?

If in the lease of the house we are renting it does not state we have to do repairs just up keep do we have to redo the lawn because it is all weeds. The landlord gave us the house originally with all weeds for a lawn. It does state in the lease that we have to abide by HOA, but HOA only regulates how much we water, fertilize and whether the grass is cut.
Now how would you go about killing the weeds and growing grass in florida the best and cheapest way. We put weed and feed down and grass seed but nothing is happening its been about 2 weeks. Is there specific brands we need, grass seed (we used Bermuda) any suggestions please help. With the suggestion please be sure they are safe for dogs and kids.

My roommate has 3 horses and 3 dogs, she seldom feeds these animals any more because she knows I’ll do it. I don’t have a horse and I only have one dog. She buys all the feed for the horses, and I buy every third bag of dog food. It sounds simple but it’s not an easy daily task, some day I go to feed and a gate will be down and this has to be taken care of right hen, not when she gets off work., the dogs are big and all need fresh water daily. The horses have to have 2B watered daily & I dump and clean water troughs every couple days. I’ve also been doing all the lawn care and pool up keep (about 3.5 hours a week). As well as dinner, dishes and the general house hold up keep. She does do her laundry and has her own bath room.~I work at home and pay half of the bills. ~I don’t say much about the cooking and hose work because I can’t stand a mess and messy clutter doesn’t bother her at all. It’s a choice on my part to keep it clean.
How much would I be paid to do this?

In the past month or so, I have discovered not huge mounds, but many smaller ones and armies of ants in long lines, throughout my side yard, mostly concentrated near my garden hose against and under my porch but now pervading almost the entire side of the yard. There are MANY lines of them, they are black (not red) and they bite my dogs’ paws when they’re out there. This side of the house is where I have fed them, because it is the only part that is shaded. Since I’d have to drench the entire area and my dogs often go here, would orange oil solution be safe and effective if I distribute it throughout? And would a formulation with molasses and dishsoap be safe for the grass there? I don’t want to destroy the yard any more than the dogs would on their own! Thanks for any suggestions!
