I’m moving to another city to attend grad school and I’m extremely broke. At some point while living up there I’d like to furnish my apartment with more than four lawn chairs and a mattress. I don’t care if it matches or not, I’d just like some good recommendations on incredibly cheap furniture.

If they offer to move it to your house too, even better, but right now I’ll take any suggestions you all can offer. Thanks!

my boyfriend and i have been in the same apartment for almost 7 months but he works in lawn care …not landscaping. Since this recession business has been slow and we cant afford it what can we do? we both are working 2 jobs and still cant afford it. I am sure my apartments don’t care what situation you are in as long as they got there money. please no sarcasm i don’t need it right now

My dad had always used bait and it seemed to only kill the fire ants. Even native species of ants were living okay. I just got put in charge of taking care of the lawn now that we are out of an apartment. I want to know if there are benefits and what brand to use.

I clogged the toilet. Please help!?

I threw noodle soup yesterday in the toilet. Believe me, I now know just how stupid that was. It got clogged right away when my roommate went to use the bathroom. Anyway, we got some of the stuff out, but not enough. The water trickles down, 5 bottles of Drano later, so there is no sitting water in the toilet, but it still does not work. Any suggestions as to what I can do? I live in an apartment, so I don’t have a garden hose or anything like that.
Oh, yeah, my landlord is also very cheap, so I dread going to him for anything.
yeah, i’ve been trying to use the plunger. doesn’t work. i gave in and called a plumber.

Can lawn care products mess up car paint?

The only place I’ve had my car parked is at my apartment and recently the landscaping company has been out spraying stuff…now the hood of my car looks like it was sprayed with something and the paint is gone in those spots…just wondering if the heat we’ve been having could have oxidized a chemical and caused this.

Is there home (facet attachable) hydrogenerator?

I am attempting to make the world a greener place but really just trying to save some green myself. At my apartment complex water/sewer are free and gas/electric are metered. Thus…I am wondering if there is a home hydrogenerator, something small that could run one appliance (such as a my fridge) off of a garden hose. Thanks!

P.S.
I does NOT have to recycle the water, simply generate electricity using the pressure of the hose and have an "out" nozel for me to deal with the "used" water. Thanks again!

I’d love to have something over our apartment carpet due to our dogs. However, it can’t be too big because I want to wash it if needed (we have no garden hoses either) but not too small (an accent rug wouldn’t cover the space).

We live in an apartment and I noticed a neighbor hooking up a garden hose to the water hose. How do you do that? What is the process? I thought it was just hot water.

How to price a lawn care job???

the property is around 3000-4000 sq ft. it is an apartment complex with a lot of work. im new to starting and defiantly do not want to over charge!
some one suggested at least over 0 a month ( 2 cuts a month) for each complex. which there is 2 of… i believe that may be to high… any advice would be awesome!
thanks!!!!
would $.20 – $.25 a sq ft be to much?

I know they make special hoses for the house. Im just seeing if theres a cheaper option. I live in an apartment and we have a window above our kitchen sink that leads to the back yard. I need a hose to spray down the yard after i pooper scoop ( i have two dogs). It would also be nice to bath them on the back porch. Im not sure if the specialty indoor hoses will handle all that. oh and if there is an adapter where do i find it???
