Does anyone know where to find a short garden hose that connects the regular garden hose to the faucet?

My friend had one, and it was around 3 – 5 inches long. I’m not really sure what it’s purpose was, but she really loved it. She can’t find it, and I’m trying to find one for her for her birthday because she would be SO surprised. I’ve looked at Lowe’s, but they didn’t know what I was talking about. Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?

This piece you are talking about is quite common…it has two female ends on it and a spring over the hose..this "gadget" is made to keep your hose from crimping up at the end by the fuacet when the entire length of the hose attached is stretched completely out..the spring over the hose keeps it from kinking and shutting off the water flow..Home Depot does have them, and Lowes should as well..I will post this and try to find the actual name of it..
