We have Viburnum shrubs outside of our house. they were recently cut very thin… like there are holes in the shrubs… they create a privacy hedge around our pool.. willl they grow back and fill in again ?

If your using a non-mulching lawn mower? All I care about is a thick and healthy lawn.
I have a toilet that is only a year old. It now flushes very slowly- not fast enough to actually flush anything down. I ran a garden hose through with a rag wrapped around it and it went through, but still flushes way too slowly. Could it be some kind of vacuum lock problem? Any ideas? I tried filling the toilet up with a bucket af water to create more power, but it still just seeps down. HELP?
The whole bathroom was built less than a year ago, with the shower, sink and toilet all tied to gether and merged into the city line with all new pipe. The sink and shower all drain very well.

DIYpro – as stated before, it is not a small tank problem. I have added buckets of water to the bowl while flushing to make sure.
Suggest sites about lawn care
It is rented property on farmland, we have spoken to the landlord and he has assured us that the chicken coup is going to be moved from the back of my bedroom window (this hasn’t happened)! We have had to chicken wire our boundary but they can still come across from our neighbour as it is open plan – short of putting chicken wire round and penning ourselves in and using the hose pipe, is there anything chickens don’t like. We have spoken to our neighbour and suggested the coup go outside his window if he likes them that much! He got quite defensive and said we have to put up with it basically! Very rude and childish attitude. I don’t think he likes our garden looking good as he hasn’t one!
Please help me! My lawn is dying all of a sudden. I take better care of my lawn than I do my kids (joking… maybe), but all of a sudden, huge areas of it are just withering away. I have been looking for a good website that can help me diagnose whatever problem it is that I’m having, but no luck so far. Could one of you possibly recommend a good site? Thank you in advance.

Hi all. I just recently purchased my first home and have noticed that the lawn has low spots in both the front and back yards. I would like to add a layer of top soil to sort of smooth things out a bit. However, with it being September already, am I too late? What is the best time to add a layer of good topsoil? I know the previous owners of this house did not take care of the lawn so I am prepared (mentally) to rehabillitate this lawn.
I am getting ready to plant a new garden. I want to use the weed resistant garden cloth. Do I put the soaker hose underneath the cloth or on top of the cloth and under the mulch?
