What is the best weed killer that won't kill my other flowers?
I’m wondering if anyone knows the best weed killer that won’t damage my flowers and shrubs. It is going in my flower beds not in my grass. I don’t have any tanbark down so the weeds are crazy!
Oh and I also prefer to spray it on using my garden hose and to not have to pull the existing weeds first. I know I know…wishfull thinking.
Please help!
Tips on starting a lawn care bussiness?
Tips on starting a lawn care bussiness?
me and by brother were thinking of starting a small lawn care bussiness for the summer, in our service we would do the lawn cut weed-wipping and finish by using a leaf blower for the clean up of the driveways and walkways,
how much would you pay for the service that we would have? (the lawn area in most of the houses are 3,000 square feet)
what the lowest amount you would pay and the highest?
we would advertise by giving the houses in out area a flier a paper advertising our service.
what are some information should we include in the paper?
will our regular push mowers last very long if they are used daily?
how many costumers should we expect for each day?
we live in around Cleveland Ohio and the average salary that these homeowners have each year is anywhere from about from ,000 to 100,000
Where can I get an adapter to connect a PUR water filter to a utility sink?
I purchased a PUR faucet mounted filter but it didn’t come with an adapter to fit my utility sink. The faucet on the utility sink has threads that are like a garden hose male side. I need an adapter that goes from that to a normal faucet type thread.
I looked on the Home depot web site and couldn’t find anything. Please provide a link if you are certain they sell it. Thanks.
How do I clean the dead and living spiders from around the window?
I am scared stiff of spiders, even if they are dead. We have an accumulation of 8 legged friends all around our windows. When I open the windows, there they are around the frame. A garden hose will work wonders for the outside of the windows but what about the ones who have made a graveyard out of the frame? I can’t get my husband to do it because he’ll never let me live it down. Just typing spider gives me the willies.
Someone who takes great care of their lawn…HELP!?
We just bought a house and moved in on Friday. The owners before were suppsoed to upkeep the lawn and it went the entire summer without water (with the exception of rain). The place has not been occupied in a few years is what we have been told. My guess is this lawn has not been well taken care of for a while. We want to make it nice again. I looked around at the neighbors lawns and their all lush and thick so I think ours can also look that way. This is our first home and we are not sure how to get this lawn looking nice again. I know obviously to water it but I know there is much more going into lawn care. This is sort of an idea of what our lawn looks like but ours Is mainly dirt with little clumps here and there of yellow grass.

Fix a hose?
Should I fix a garden hose or throw it out? The end that is on the faucet is O.K. but, the other end is missing…it was not a cheap hose, but, it was evidently cheaply made. Have you ever fixed a hose? Is it hard to do? Or should I just pitch it???If I should keep it plese tell me how to fix it……thank you so much.
Lawn care questions . . . . .?
Planted seed about a month ago and it seems to be coming up nicely. We also have area of the yard that were already fully grassed but there are a ton of weeds/dandelions. Do we wait until the grass is long enough and mow it once and then spread turf builder? Mow only the old established grass and then the turf builder? Or is it better to have the grass quite long beforehand? Would love some advice from any lawn care experts out there. Also, we have two large German Shepherds and wonder how best to keep the lawn fairly grassy with them running on it. We don’t expect it to be perfect and they are trained to go to the bathroom in only one area,
Thanks!
Plumbing cost question – can you give me an idea what a plumber would charge?
I need to run a residential water line from the meter at the street, about fifteen feet underground, then up to a height of about three feet above ground, where there needs to be a high-quality brass valve to accept a garden hose. Not sure if I need a pressure reduction valve also, but I will assume yes. This will be a watering station for a landscaping / garden area. Any rough idea about what a job like this might cost to have done?
I have a lawn care question?
My lawn is bermuda grass. I would really like for it to be nice and green next summer. Are there any steps i should take this winter as far as weed prevention goes?
