I currently use a company called Grass Roots and I am not happy at all with their service

Garden hose help, please!?

We have a garden hose in the front of our house that I use to water the trees and plants in the front;but recently, we had a company come cut our grass, and aparently they ran over the garden hose and damaged it.
So I wanted to remove that garden hose and replace it with another, but it seems to be stuck on the faucet.I originally put it on by hand, but when I tried to get it off by hand I couldt get it off.So I tried a vice grip to try to unloosen it&get it off,but even with that I was unable to get it off;infact I was afraid of damaging the water line cuase I would move the faucet, but not make any or very little progress geting the hose off the faucet.
I figure that either the end of the hose o&/or the faucet is rusty, or possible(but small chance) running cold water through the hose maybe has cause the metal end to contract enough making it hard to get off. While my dad on the other hand has convinced himself that I improperly put the hose on with a vise(not true) and…
messed up the faucet &/or hose with the vice grip(also not true); we had a 10-15 minute argument about why I cant and he cant get the hose off, even using the vise grip.
Please and suggestions or tips on how to get the stuck hose off the faucet is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!:-)

Is there enough work out there to go into the lawn care business(cutting grass)….and when does it start up? In South Carolina!

The soil seems to absorm at a medium rate, little puddeling.

Likes branches and things like that.

I am not sure why, but the spicket in the front of my house has high water pressure and some control valves. The spicket in the back of the house has hardly any water pressure. I have tried to mess with the valves in the fron of the house in every combination but the only thing that happens is the water turns off in the back or continues with low pressure. Please help. Is there anything I can do somewhere or is the house just built that way?

General lawn care questions?

I have an acre of lawn in central Florida, it’s green and thick for the most part.. but there are areas where it’s yellowish and the grass is sparse. What can I do to make the grass thick and green? Fertizlize? Reseed? Water?

Thx

Garden hose reel issue?

http://s294.photobucket.com/albums/mm84/jammythehamster/?action=view&current=thehosething.jpg

this is the picture of the thing that keeps on falling off the hose connected to the garden hose reel. We keep on trying to put it back on but it cannot be locked and fall off again.
I am trying to find the locking features but no way.
Do you know how to fix it?
thanks
